ah, summer oh how I've missed you. maxi dresses, bikini's and of course summer parties. what could be any better? Summer is definitely one of the best times of the year where we all come together for BBQ's and celebrations. There's nothing better than dressing to impress and enjoying a few drinks with the girls. Well, how about you throw you and the girls a cocktail party to really get in the mood this summer! 

 First things first you want to be able to make some amazing cocktails that are gonna knock the block off your friends! I came across this great video which shows you exactly how to make some classic cocktails such as a Cosmopolitan, Margarita, and a Flaming Sambuca! which are sure to rock your friends flip flops! 

Next, set a theme! a theme is a great way to have fun and allow all your friends to dress up and have a giggle at all your crazy and different styles. With a Cocktail Party you want it to be very classy. I'd suggest a 1950's hollywood glamour theme, a great way for all the girls to put their best frock on and their best red lippy on the show. maybe even RiRi New Mac lipstick? any why not play about with some vintage curls one of my favorite hair styles and go back in time with some vintage waves! 







 To really go to town for your cocktail party you can even add decorations to the evening. This can be very easy for any occasion.  From simple fairy lights around the garden, to tea lights sprinkled around the room with some petals. The simplest things can mean a lot. Decor is all about the little touches. So don't go splashing the cash when you can make a small environment looking glamorous and classy for your cocktail with a few candles and fairy lights. You can find yourself some tea lights, candles and fairy lights from a range of places such as ikea.
